In a working atelier on the edge of the old city, guests spend two hours with the potters and zellige cutters who have kept Fez's oldest crafts alive for generations. An artisan instructor guides each pair of hands through centering clay on the wheel, drawing up a bowl or plate, and then decorating it with the geometric motifs the city is known for. Clay, tools, glazes and a glass of mint tea are all provided, and the finished piece travels home with its maker.
A driver collects guests from their Fez hotel or riad and drives out to the artisans' quarter.
